If you like Variety shows and want to perform on the incredible Matz Hall stage with some warm-hearted, wonderful amateur community performers, if you want to forge new friendships and meet some very cool people to hang out with who enjoy "doing theatre for the fun of it", you should consider going out for Village Follies.  You'll be onstage singing, dancing and acting in several different short skits, musical numbers & parodies written and/or directed by fellow performers.  This has been a Winnetka Theatrical Tradition for well over 50 years and many generations of area community members have graced the Matz Hall Stage with their talent and antics.

There will be roles for everyone who wants to Audition. 

​

• If you want to sing in the show, prepare a song and bring sheet music or a backing track (we will have a bluetooth speaker available) to sing along with.

• If you want to dance,  there will be dance auditions, so bring your dance gear.

• If you want to act, they will have you perform a monologue or read sides. 

​

Rehearsals will be Saturday mornings, Sunday afternoons and some Wednesday evenings beginning on the first week of January at the Community House.

​

The 2026 show is Friday March 20 at  7pm, Saturday March 21 at 3 pm & 7pm and Sunday March 22 at 3pm on the Matz Hall Stage at the Community House, Winnetka.
